Built-in 1907, this lighthouse has stood tall in the skyline ever since. The light marks the northern limit of the Florida reef. This reef is an underwater coral formation on the lower east coast of the state. This monument is an iconic piece in the area and a must-see when you’re in the area. It’s a short walk down the beach and is good for a little exercise!
If you find yourself wanting to find out more about the history of the lighthouse, the preservation society offers boat-led tours. This allows you to see it in all of its vastness.
